While I mostly use my Melitta one cup coffee maker for coffee, I am happy that I can switch the coffee pod holder to the tea pod holder for this awesomely good green tea. A hot, fresh and delicious cup of green tea in mere seconds. It is naturally sweet so I don't even add a drop of honey as I do for most teas. Once in awhile, I will add a fresh mint leave or a lemon slice.

We've ordered two of these boxes and I'm about to get a third. At home, I use Illy loose grounds exclusively and do all the measuring and tamping and whatnot myself so I can feel all Barista-ey. But in our second home, we use these pods. They stay fresh, there's no mess, there's no fuss, and they taste great. Get the 100% Arabica verion; it's worth the extra few bucks.

Both the 100% Arabica and the Espressione Espresso are excellent for espresso drinks. Traditionally espresso, unlike good drip coffee, is made with a mix of Arabica and Robusta coffees. The taste differences are noticeable, but I don't have a strong favorite. I use the pods for convenience, although I also roast my own green beans for espresso as well.



If you look at the negative reviews, they're mostly on the "best before" dates being passed. While I would also be upset to spend money and get "expired" pods, I should point out that the pods are good for quite some time after their nominal expiration dates. I just found a handful of these Espressione Classic pods with 2002 (this is late 2009 now) dates and they made acceptable, though not spectacular espresso. Basically they're vacuum packed and not much is happening inside the wrapper.

I have been using the Your Coffee Pod brand filters for quite some time now. These filters work great!!! On occasion I would have one that wouldn't seal well but no different than the Perfect Pod brand. I have saved a ton of money using these filters and will continue using them. It is nothing to forming the pod and the wider lip on top works better for me with my perfect pod holster. Also shipping is cheaper because they are not bulky. I can't believe what I'm reading from some of the reviews. Don't be fooled by the charlatan "The Reviewer "Product Performance" as this person is really "AS SEEN ON TV" products. I discovered this when I clicked on "read all my reviews" and noticed his nickname was "GALVANIZE8." I remembered there was a seller on eBay who sells "AS SEEN ON TV" products and their username is "GALVANIZE." Coincidence??? Not hardly, after more investigating I found out the seller on Amazon.com and eBay are one in the same. These people are leaving bad reviews on their competitors products and giving their own products 5 stars. This is unethical business practices and changes my opinion on doing business with "AS SEEN ON TV" products in the future. They are trying to deceive people in believing the Your Coffee Pod brand filters do not work as good as their filters but the truth is they do if not even better. I think the "AS SEEN ON TV" people are threatened by this new product as they should be. REMEMBER, DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE CHARLATAN.

This is the same filter paper as sold by Perfect Pod. One step has been left out and that is to simply press the paper into the Perfect Pod Maker basin. It's a fast and economical alternative to the brand name filter paper. The only caveat is to be sure and have the "rough" side of the paper facing up. It won't stick if the shiny side is up. It takes no extra effort to create the pod filter and the savings is worth it. Additionally, the packing is a mere envelope compared to the large box required to ship the bulky, hard plastic clam-shell packaging of the Perfect Pod papers. A greener choice if that is important to you.



I think these are great and will continue to order as a better alternative.

I have been using these filters from [...] ever since I could not get the pod filters from As-seem-on-TV and with the exception of the variation of my voltage I have found I do not spend any more time making my pods than before. I use a 7 sec count to get a good seal with them and I had to use a longer count with the Perfect Pod Filters as well. These filters are easier to keep as they come flat and do not take up the space that the preformed filters take, which is a problem at my house.

These coffee pods will work in any of the pod machines and I suggest you turn them over to prevent leakage which is recommended by other formed pod makers.



The shipping is lower as the packages are smaller and take less to send.

This variety pack gave me a selection of coffee to try from Coffee People. I wish they added Kona Blend in it so I can give it a taste.

The best of this pack is Black Tiger - strong, bold, and flavorful. I did not find it bitter but I usually use half-and-half and some sugar in my coffee anyways.

Second was Organic. Then it was Wake-Up Call. The worst of the bunch is Jet Fuel because it was bitter and had a bad aftertaste. No sugar or cream can fix that.



Like one poster said - some are better than others. I would not get this again but order the flavor that suits me best. They should include donut shop in it because it is one of the best ones from CP.

If you like BOLD coffee, this is a great sampler. I found the Organic Coffee to be the best with the Black Tiger a close second. I own the Keurig B60, and was nervous about buying it as I like a stong cup of coffee that can stand up to the 1/2 & 1/2 I like to use with it. The variety pack that came with the B60 was great, however I didn't think they were any bold enough. Enter Coffee People Extra Bold Variety Pack!



I bought this based off the reviews, and took a gamble. I at one point was nervous they'd be too stong, but it's perfect. I've tried every cup a couple times now.



My order of preference? Wake-Up call, Jet Fuel, Organic, Black Tiger



Wake-Up Call: Solid bold cup of coffee that isn't bitter. When I go to re-buy, I'll be buying this one exclusively because I could easily drink it daily. My absolute favorite by far.



Black Tiger: Too bitter, and very strong. If you're a college student looking to cram, or a truck driver with the night shift then this is the coffee for you! I'll drink it when I need a good pick me up, and it's not bad - but just had a super bitter aftertaste that I'm not overly fond of.



All in all? A great purchase if you want a couple choices of really great Extra Bold Coffees. I haven't had any issues with grinds in my cup either, like some others have. In the future, I'll be buying just Wake-Up Call for my everyday coffee!

I depend on amazon.com for these coffee pods, which for some reason the stores (grocery, Target, etc.) don't carry. Not sure why, but I'm so happy to be able to order them in bulk. I like the senseo cappuccino pods that go with my senseo coffee maker. It is a good way to enjoy a cappuccino without having to go out to purchase a cup. I recommend this coffee if you want a pleasing cup of coffee but it is not strong starbucks type coffee. It is more mild but still very good.

Cream in pods seem to be too hard. Senseo is not nearly as good and the cappuccino pods Folgers use to have.

Senseo Cappuchino coffee pods brew up a great cup of coffee. Made for a machine, such as the Senseo, that brews 1 cup at a time. It's easy, it's fast and this particular flavor is my favorite. Purchasing this 4 pack which each hold 10 pods is an econominal way to enjoy my morning brew. Absolutely love it.
