My husband and I both love coffee, and we definitely decided this variety pack had its good and bad points. While we didn't feel the Wake-Up Call lived up to its name, I loved the Organic and the Black Tiger. Also, the Jet Fuel pod, per his vantage point, was only drinkable on the large setting of the Keurig machine, in essence diluting the coffee.

I recently purchased the Coffee People Extra Bold Variety Pack and am very pleased with the coffees. In my opinion the best ones are Jet Fuel and Organic. Wake Up Call and Black Tiger are okay, but not as pleasing to me as the first two. Definitely glad I tried these and will buy again. If you like dark roast and bold yet smooth coffee, you may like these... I think they are smooth in the tradition of Sumatra, yet bold enough to wake up the taste buds. Very nice!

normally I like bold, strong, smooth coffee (Emeril's big easy bold is a favorite) but this makes a nice cup of coffee that tastes like a good "donut shop" coffee just as the name says. I wouldn't call this "bold" by any means but it has a very good flavor. I use the medium cup setting.

This variety pack gave me a selection of coffee to try from Coffee People. I wish they added Kona Blend in it so I can give it a taste.

The best of this pack is Black Tiger - strong, bold, and flavorful. I did not find it bitter but I usually use half-and-half and some sugar in my coffee anyways.

Second was Organic. Then it was Wake-Up Call. The worst of the bunch is Jet Fuel because it was bitter and had a bad aftertaste. No sugar or cream can fix that.



Like one poster said - some are better than others. I would not get this again but order the flavor that suits me best. They should include donut shop in it because it is one of the best ones from CP.

If you like BOLD coffee, this is a great sampler. I found the Organic Coffee to be the best with the Black Tiger a close second. The price per cup is fantastic, and when you can get it with free shipping, all the better. I highly recommend Coffee People products - I have not had one I have not enjoyed.

I own the Keurig B60, and was nervous about buying it as I like a stong cup of coffee that can stand up to the 1/2 & 1/2 I like to use with it. The variety pack that came with the B60 was great, however I didn't think they were any bold enough. Enter Coffee People Extra Bold Variety Pack!



I bought this based off the reviews, and took a gamble. I at one point was nervous they'd be too stong, but it's perfect. I've tried every cup a couple times now.



My order of preference? Wake-Up call, Jet Fuel, Organic, Black Tiger



Wake-Up Call: Solid bold cup of coffee that isn't bitter. When I go to re-buy, I'll be buying this one exclusively because I could easily drink it daily. My absolute favorite by far.



Black Tiger: Too bitter, and very strong. If you're a college student looking to cram, or a truck driver with the night shift then this is the coffee for you! I'll drink it when I need a good pick me up, and it's not bad - but just had a super bitter aftertaste that I'm not overly fond of.



All in all? A great purchase if you want a couple choices of really great Extra Bold Coffees. I haven't had any issues with grinds in my cup either, like some others have. In the future, I'll be buying just Wake-Up Call for my everyday coffee!

Great to try out different coffees before buying large boxes of something you do not like. We really liked all the varieties in this assortment. We like our coffee rather strong and all the coffees in this package are great at either the tall coffee mug size or the large cup size. My husband & I generally enjoy bold coffee; however, the enclosed flavors [wake-up call; jet fuel; organic; Tiger] were on the bitter side. My husband continues to drink them; but the only one I will drink is the "Organic". I prefer Neuman's Own Bold or Emeril's Big & Easy bold for Keurig. These Coffee People flavors are definitely strong; if that's what you're looking for; just not my favorite.

Just wanted to point out that many of these reviews refer to what must have been an older variety pack. The current pack (as of March 2010) contains Organic, Jet Fuel, Wake Up Call and Black Tiger, so no flavored coffees and no decaf. I really like all of them - nice, dark roasts, but each one has a distinct flavor. I've had some Coffee People varieties that I find somewhat burnt tasting, but these four are a great selection.

This is some really flavorful, bold, strong coffee!! I am drifting towards Wake-up call as a favorite out of this variety box, as it reminds me of coffee shop coffees(Seattle's Best, Starbucks) Jet Fuel and Black Tiger are a little stronger and very tasty too . Organic just about knocked my socks off, it is definitely a good cup to have if you need a jump start on your day.All in all, if you are looking for bolder coffees, this box is a great jumping off point, as you get to sample several brews and can choose a favorite from there.

Coffee People coffee is the Best! I've tried different brands when I first got my Keurig Brewer with the sample pack. I've settled on the Coffee People Extra Bold and the Coffee People Jet Fuel. I only have one 12 oz mugful per day. Yep, I know, the highest amount is 10 oz, but in the am, I pour my first 10 oz, then re-set it to the lowest cup setting, which fills my cup up (all on the same K-Cup). Yeh, it tones it down some, but I still get my caffeine kick that I need at 4:30 am.

The Extra Bold is not bitter - it's strong, but not bitter, with a nice smooth flavor that matches that wonderful 'COFFEE' smell that we coffee lovers love.
